ISDN (Integrated Service Digital Network) is a technology which allows you to achieve speeds much faster and less latent than 56K dial-up. ISDN is ideal for businesses that need a fast, reliable, and permanent connection to the Internet. Until the recent introduction of ADSL, ISDN was the main choice for digital connections. One major advantage of ISDN over ADSL, is availability, in many cases ISDN will work on lines unsuitable for ADSL. Both permanent and casual connection methods are available. Permanent connections require additional hardware, customers can choose between a dedicated router or Linux server equipped with a Net-Jet ISDN card. Casual connections do not require any additional hardware. Windows ISDN dialup software is provided by the Telco during installation of the ISDN service. ISDN connections are also subject to Telco charges as listed under the Telco Carrier Costs section. Prices in this section are listed only as a guide and are subject to change by the Telco. For more information please visit the Telstra ISDN website To find out more about ISDN please call ISPDr on 1300-654-797.
* Please check all call costs with your telephone provider. |
