Below are instructions on how to set up your ISP Doctor connection if your computer is running Windows 2000. Please print this page and keep it in a safe place - if you ever lose the connection on your machine this page will get you back online in minutes!

Installing the connection
Click on the 'Start' button:

  Select 'Settings'
  Choose 'Network and Dial-up Connections'
  Click on 'Make New Connection'

This will start the Network Connection wizard. When the wizard appears:

  Click 'Next'
  Select Dial-up to the Internet
  Click 'Next'
  Put a dot next to 'I want to set up my Internet connection manually'
  Click 'Next'
  Put a dot next to 'I connect through a phone line and modem'
  Click 'Next'
  Type the dial-in number for your area in the 'Phone Number' field
  Remove the tick from 'Use area code and dialing rules'
  Click 'Next'
  Type your username into the 'Username' field
  Type your password into the 'Password' field
  Click 'Next'
  In the 'Connection Name' field, type 'ISPDR'
  Click 'Next'
  For now, choose 'No' when it asks 'Do you want to set up a mail account now?'
  Click 'Next'
  Click Finish
